Can all spiritual entities be classified as Angels or demons or Good or Evil? I was wondering? Is it that clear cut? What do you think?

Sat, May 30, 2009 - 5:36 PMEverything is in fact a blend of Good/Evil Angel/Demon. I can not see spirit as being just one.

Re: Angels or Demons? Anything in between?
Thu, June 4, 2009 - 8:23 AMI think traditionally angels are supposed to represent the highest good, and demons are supposed to represent the deepest evil. It's between these two poles of the spectrum that people can then decide where they, their actions, other people, and their actions fit. But to say that all spiritual entities are either Good or Evil is a little simplistic, I think. Good compared to what? Evil compared to what? It's all relative and subjective and a context is always necessary. For example Hitler thought he was doing good, but most of the rest of the world thought he was doing evil.
Good and evil are just judgments individuals make. There is no good or evil inherent in any person, situation, or context unless you ascribe that quality to it. Of course this is 'moral relativism' which the Catholic church among others views as itself an evil way of looking at things.
