Well hello folks, This years Pride we are planning to have several events for Fay folks to gather at. Kind of a City Farie Gathering as it were. Such as having a stage at Pink Saturday and a Tea party in the plaza on the Saturday before pride. And Various Brunches and evening events. I am compiling events and making an event calendar for Fairys (notice how I change the spelling of Feries allot, kinda like some change their names) There are several things needed but mostly we just need each other to get together and make our lives more fabulous. Here is a list of some of those things.
Performers
Musicians
Decorators and Set up
People for Security (yes our own Homoland Security)
People to help with food
People for Clean up and Take down.

There are other things needed also such as materials for decorating the village, did you know they charge us around 1200 dollars for the privacy fencing alone...... HELLLLO We are fay folks I am sure we can find a way to cut the cost and find fabulous materials to hide our village and make it cute. I don't need to talk about how much they wanted to charge for everything we have rented in past years (I went through and made cutbacks that were not necessary) But folks we can make magic happen without having to Rent tents and several other things that we ourselves can produce at 1 fourth the cost. So I am putting out a call lets make FFV feel like a magical world this year.
Anyway summer is coming. I invite anyone that wants to help with Gay Pride FFV to please contact me and just tell me what you would like to participate in. I am going to be the Manager of Fairie Freedom Village this year and there will be allot going on. Fairy Freedom Village is the only space at Gay Pride that doesn't have any buying or selling of products, there are no referendums to sign, or anyone to vote for, or anything to register to vote for, in fact Its main purpose is to be a space where we can just celebrate together.
